We’re recruiting on behalf of our Fareham-based client for immediate, temporary agency work supporting household and commercial waste collections.This role involves operating a dust cart on scheduled routes, working as part of a team to deliver an essential public service.Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Previous driving experience preferred (refuse experience advantageous)
- Ability to work as part of a team in a physically active role
- Flexible, dependable, and safety-conscious
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a Class 2 (Category C) refuse vehicle on planned collection routes
- Collect household and commercial waste in a safe and efficient manner
- Work closely with loaders to complete daily rounds
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with regulations
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times
- Provide a professional service to the public and local businesses
