✅ Friendly, supportive local teamYour RoleYou’ll be responsible for safely moving Class 1 trailers and vehicles around a busy depot, ensuring trailers are in the right place for loading and unloading while keeping the yard operating efficiently.Duties include:
- Shunting trailers around the depot and yard
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams
- Following site procedures and health & safety standards
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
What You’ll Need
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous Class 1 or shunting experience preferred
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- Reliable transport to travel to the depot
