- Monday-Friday Days: £18.29 per hour + holiday pay = £20.50 per hour
- Monday-Friday Nights: £19.19 per hour + holiday pay = £21.51 per hour
- Saturday: £19.63 per hour + holiday pay = £22.00 per hour
- Sunday: £21.41 per hour + holiday pay = £23.99 per hour
- 8 hours guaranteed pay
Pay Increase from 25 October 2026
- Monday-Friday Days: £20.00 per hour + holiday pay = £22.41 per hour
- Monday-Friday Nights: £21.00 per hour + holiday pay = £23.53 per hour
- Saturday: £22.00 per hour + holiday pay = £24.66 per hour
- Sunday: £23.00 per hour + holiday pay = £25.78 per hour
- 10 hours guaranteed pay
The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Store deliveries, typically 5-8 deliveries per shift
- Collections and trunking work on night shifts
- Early morning, afternoon and night shifts available
- Monday-Friday work, with some weekend shifts required
- 4 on / 4 off shift patterns also available
- Paid driving assessments
- Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and professionally
- Complying with all tachograph, driving hours and road safety regulations
Driver RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must have:
- Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 / C+E driving experience
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Good knowledge of tachograph legislation and drivers’ hours regulations
- Maximum 6 points on your driving licence
- No DD, DR, IN or other major endorsements
- A reliable, professional and hardworking attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
