Job DescriptionAre you a HGV Class 1 Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work in Birmingham? Want to work with one of the UK’s leading supply chain logistics providers? Day and night shifts are available Monday – Saturday from 04:00 – 18:00 starts.This role will involve:– Making deliveries & collections nationwide
– Variety of runs anywhere from 3-5 drops per day
– 8-12 hour shifts (Minimum 8 hours paid)
– 5 shifts per week
– No handball
– Site is based in Erdington, Birmingham
– Overtime available after 40 hours completedSuccessful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:– Have at least 6 months C+E experience
– Held Class 1 licence for AT LEAST 2 years
– Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)
– Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph cardHGV Class 1 Night Drivers PAYE rates of pay:Days – £16.30 (OT £24.45)
Nights – £18.00 (OT £27.00)Mandatory assessments are involved which will include:– Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)
