The role is based on a Morrisons site in Sittingbourne and will involve store deliveries, RDC’s, Warehouses and can involve manual handling, drop and swaps and general trunking.Job DescriptionAvailable shifts and start times:Start times will be 01:15am or 01:45am unless stated otherwise. Start times will also be applicable to a two hour start window.
- Tuesday-Saturday.
- Thursday-Monday.
- Monday-Friday 05:00am-06:00am – This will include Knauff work so curtain and strapping will be required.
Salary:Starting salary from £42,304 per annum Based on average hours worked of 54 per week.
- Monday-Friday Days – £15.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Monday-Friday Nights – £16.30 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
- Saturday and Sunday Days – £18.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments).
- Saturday and Sunday Nights – £18.50 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments).
- Bank Holidays – £18.81 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments).
Qualifications
- You should have a minimum 6 months Class 1 experience.
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions
- Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
