Our client based in Erith is looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver.Immediate start available.HGV Class 2 Driver – average of 14 drops per day, collection on return routeSalary: £39,000 pa + OT, paid weeklyRota: Saturdays, paid at 1.5 – one weekend in 4Holiday: 20 days + BHRoutes are normally DA8 to SE1 areas, mainly pallet work – occasional routes to NW and SW LondonMust be able to use tail lift – able to use electric pump truckDriver Principal Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Ensuring that the vehicle is presentable at all times and the daily checks are completed.
- Maintaining a reasonable level of fuel and fluids in the vehicle at all times.
- Ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed on a daily basis.
- Liaising with customers on their premises as necessary.
- Debrief the team on a daily basis covering customer requests, delivery performance and customer feedback.
- Work as a key part of the team
- Contributing to the maintenance of Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Promoting good housekeeping for an efficient working environment
- Well presented at all times
