Weekend HGV class 2 drivers are required for ongoing ad hoc work based in Newton Abbot, South Devon.This role is ideal for experienced Category C drivers looking for weekend work, additional income, or flexible driving shifts. - Drive a Category C (Class 2) Vehicle, with valid CPC and Tacho card.
- Complete deliveries throughout South Devon
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects
- Follow transport legislation and health and safety procedures
- Communicate any delays or delivery issues promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when representing the business
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently
QualificationsEssential
- Full UK Category C driving licence
- Good knowledge of safe driving practices
- Strong reliability and time management skills
- Availability to work weekends
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
